While attending a Geisha tea ceremony in Kyoto, I learned of a Japanese philosophy: ichi-go,ichi-e, which means “one time, one meeting”. Every moment in life is precious and unique, and we must learn to cherish these fleeting moments while they last.

My name is Stephanie. I'm a mother, a storyteller, a survivor, and traveler. Together with my family we're exploring the intersection of healing and adventure. This space is where I share our journeys throughout Japan and beyond, and lessons that come with slowing down, starting over, and finding meaning in the process.
